About Us: We are a division of O.O.A.K. Collections, LLC, (One-of-a-Kind) a women's design collective. O.O.A.K. Collections has already introduced the Glamour Scarf and Wheely Nice Covers & the House of Edin to the market place. We are constantly inventing and re envisioning products. O.O.A.K. Collections is concerned about the environment and practice lean manufacturing principals. We also will soon open a nonprofit designed to help women raising their children alone. We build coalitions with our company. Currently we have a close working relationship with Myriam Moffitte of ASAP Sewing and Patternmaking Service. And one of our partners in the collective owns and operates Ready4Retail. We are constantly growing. We hope to nurture future inventors and entrepreneurs in the coming years. We are always open to new ideas, new paradigms and new friends. So please, do not hesitate to get in touch with us. We know that only together can we save our world. Q&A
1. Are you a for profit company? Yes, we are and unlike many companies with nonprofit arms, our ultimate goal is to sustain the nonprofit by using our profits. 2. Do you do multi-level marketing. No. We do not. We believe wealth serves humanity best when it is equally distributed. 3. Do you outsource to other countries? No, we are developing jobs for people here in our country. However, we will strive to provide at least one wheelchair a year for someone in a developing country. Do not get us wrong, we are for legal immigration and genuine fair trade agreements. That excludes most of the current ones. We also do no business with companies utilizing the services of "sweatshops." 4. Will you do workshops about entrepreneurship and invention? Yes, we will be doing a series of workshops in the near future. These workshops will be reasonably priced and you will get your money's worth. 5. Is Glamour Scarf Patented Yes, Patent Pending status -- but we know you wouldn't steal from us. And yes, the Glamour Scarf is a trademark. |
